- One thing I did with this site was using AI to bring souvenir designs in my head to life. This poster design for example, uses a combination of DALL·E 2 and Photoshop. I put my idea into a prompt, got a working draft from DALL·E 2 and expanded upon on it using Photoshop to create a print quality design for a drop shipping solution I integrated into the site.
Arnold Haven Logo
I did not us “AI” for Arnold Haven’s logo. That was done by me the old fashion way using the pen tool in Illustrator.
I designed this simple logo with gestalt theory of proximity in mind, blending an A-frame home within mountains which fits the location of Arnold, CA.
What is Arnold Haven?
In order to tap into local tourism search demand and drive new bookings to my short term rental, I put together a website targeting the Arnold, CA local and point of interest searches near Arnold. The website also supports a booking flow and products around points of interest to maximize organic growth and exposure in Google for relevant tourism research – which I did on my own using pre-built premium theme. This site is also example of my photography and video editing, and technical SEO optimization. I launched the site on November 4, 2023. I’ll add growth metrics as they come in.
The products are more to support bringing in traffic around point of interests through a variety of Google Search avenues than it is to actually sell products. For this site, main goal is to drive more short term rental interest.
